What To Wear & Bring On A Yacht In Dubai

You have booked your yacht – now what do you pack? A private yacht trip is easy and relaxed, but a few small things make a big difference. Use this checklist before you leave home.

1. The one thing you cannot forget: ID

Every guest needs an original passport or Emirates ID to board. Copies and photos on your phone are usually not accepted. Make sure every guest in your group knows this before the day.

2. What to wear

Light, comfortable clothes – it is warm in the UAE for most of the year.
Flat shoes or sandals with a soft sole. High heels are not a good idea on a boat deck, and many yachts ask guests to go barefoot on board.
Swimwear under your clothes if you want to swim when conditions allow.
A light jacket or hoodie for evening and winter trips – it gets windy at sea.

3. Sun protection

Sunscreen (apply before you board).
Sunglasses and a hat or cap.
A refillable water bottle – stay hydrated, especially in summer.

4. For swimming

A towel and a change of clothes.
A small bag for wet things.
Remember: swimming stops depend on the weather and the area, and the captain decides on the day.

5. Fun extras

Your playlist – our yachts have a sound system.
A power bank – you will take more photos and videos than you think.

6. If you get seasick

Most trips in the UAE are on calm water, but if you are sensitive, eat something light before the trip and stay on deck looking at the horizon. You can also take seasickness tablets before boarding.
